Finconecta together with FELABAN participated at the 19th Financial Technology & Innovation Conference, CLAB 2019 this October 7th-9th in Hollywood, Florida presenting our joint program: Finnova LATAM, a digital transformation program aimed to support Latin American financial institutions in their digital transformation.
Our CEO, Jorge Ruiz was invited to participate in a panel together with Alan Muñoz, Executive Vice President at Banco Fihogar and Nestor Serravalle, Chief Global Sales Officer at VU Security to share his views on Digital Transformation and the competitive collaboration between banks and fintechs. Key areas explored included: how digital transformation is an ongoing phenomenon, the permanence of innovation and the importance of moving forward to survive in this ever changing world. They discussed how competitive collaboration between the Banks and Fintechs can lead to a profound transformation through a business model where all the actors win. Alan Muñoz shared his experience as CEO of Fihogar and expressed the value that FinConecta gave him and the institution. He stated “Not having many separate conversations and many different accesses has taken away a headache and greatly speeds up the implementation process” giving credit to FinConecta’s services this past year.
Throughout the 3 days, the FinConecta team engaged in thought and meaningful conversations with important executives from around the world. Our booth served as a meeting place where individuals could learn about our 4wrd platform and its many benefits.
The FinConecta team can’t wait until the next CLAB to network with industry executives and learn the latest trends of the financial industry at the Latin America’s largest technology and innovation event.
