BancoSol presented two technological solutions developed in a strategic partnership with FinConecta, a global FinTech company supported by financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). These are the Facebook ChatBot “Luka” and SolMail, a daily balance statement for savings customers.
“These tools are developed with the objective of including more Bolivians in the financial system so that they have access to quality integral products and services, are part of an agreement with the first interconnected ecosystem between financial institutions and FinTech solutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, which deepens our goal of offering state-of-the-art technology to micro and small entrepreneurs,” said BancoSol’s General Manager Kurt Koenigsfest at the launching event of these innovations.
The partnership goes beyond the development of services. Now, BancoSol will take a leap towards new financial technologies by joining the interconnected financial network created by FinConecta. In this global framework, various financial entities, such as financial institutions, FinTechs and others, participate and gain access the open platform called 4wrd.
“The solution is designed to provide a secure and scalable integration between core banking systems and financial technology solutions,” explained the executives of the company capitalized by the IDB.
The ChatBot is a solution for Facebook Messenger that provides attention to customers and users of the entity to answer frequently asked questions, provide information regarding products/services and directs communications to banking channels via telephone and email.
The service can be accessed from the computer or a smartphone, making it easy, simple, and effective to use.
Meanwhile, SolMail is a free service designed to keep BancoSol’s customers informed about movements in their savings accounts through a daily statement sent via email.
The client can request the service at any of BancoSol’s Agencies at no cost. Once activated, the client can check the balance and movements of his/her savings bank account with his/her email from a computer, his smartphone or any electronic device that has an internet connection.
“We want to maintain a fluid communication with our customers and users, an advantage is that the chatbot is easily accessible, and uses real numerical data and statistical information through relative data that is automatically calculated by the system, it is safe and reliable because it has the ability to store historical data and display it while allowing you to visualize the information collected and export the data,” added the executive.
